Marketing Magazine 's June 10, 1996 issue has a special report on Digital Marketing. Here's an excerpt:

"Bookmark this: Ten marketing-oriented Canadian Web sites that are worth visiting:

Tired of getting all tangled up in the World Wide Web? Here's our attempt to cut a swath through some of the marketing fluff that's floating around in cyberspace. The following Web sites are all: (1) easy to navigate, (2) 100% Canadian and (3) fluff-free. This list is by no means exhaustive, but merely a tiny sampling of some of the highly useful information out there. "

Included in Marketing Magazine's pick of Web sites is Blue Cat Design. Here's what the magazine has to say about us:

"Blue Cat Design
Want to check out some cool-looking Web sites? Blue Cat, a full-service design house north of Toronto, was described last February by The Globe and Mail as "a Web pioneer...the grand-daddy of Canada's Web site design business." It has designed sites for an eclectic list of companies, including Century 21, The Bell Centre for Creative Communications at Centennial College in Toronto and Century Home magazine.

The Blue Cat site boasts a portfolio of some of the company's more cutting-edge designs. There's also a page called "New media articles," some of them by Blue Cat's principal Wade Rowland, and others from media outlets like the Toronto Star. If you're pondering what type of look your Web site should have, this site will give you some ideas."

We were in very good company - among the other nine Web sites Marketing Magazine included were: AC Neilson; Angus Reid Group; Environics; Impact Research; and Electric Eye Multimedia.

The April issue of Spider's Web e-zine published by InContext software profiles Blue Cat Design in Pounding the Virtual Pavement, an article about international Web design firms.

Blue Cat Design was profiled in an article in Globe & Mail's Report on Business, Technology Report, on February 27, 1996. In the article we were described as "a Web Pioneer...the grand-daddy of Canada's burgeoning Web site design business" because we were one of the first Canadian design firms doing Web design.

The American magazine, The Net, reviewed the Blue Cat Design Web site in their January 1996 issue. They said "These kats design cool Web stuff." Thanks guys!
