Blue Cat Design CEO, Christine Collie Rowland, will be a featured speaker at the 6th annual Ontario Global Traders Awards on April 1, 2004.

Christine will be one of five business leaders participating in a Town Hall panel entitled "Becoming a Successful Global Enterprise". The Town Hall will explore key issues and opportunities for Ontario exporters and provide delegates with an opportunity to engage in a discussion with panel members. Christine will also be speaking in another Ontario Export Forum on "Laying the Groundwork for Successful International Expansion".

Blue Cat Design is no stranger to the Ontario Global Traders Awards - the new media firm was presented with an Ontario Global Traders Award for leadership in 1999. The Leadership Award is intended to recognize individuals who are known for championing the cause of exporting within their own industry and who have a proven track record in growing their business through exporting activities.

The event, to be held at Ramada Inn on the Bay, Belleville, April 1, 2004, will be hosted by Joe Cordiano, Minister of Economic Development and Trade; and the Master of Ceremonies will be Ian Portsmouth, Editor, PROFIT, Your Guide to Business Success.

The Ontario Global Traders Award is Ontario's award for recognition of outstanding exporting achievement for small and medium-sized enterprises. The awards were hosted by the Ontario International Trade Corporation and the Bank of Montreal, with judging panels made up of executives from leading Ontario companies and contributing sponsors which include: the Chartered Accountants of Ontario, National Quality Institute, Deloitte & Touche, Export Development Corporation, Profit magazine, Canadian Commercial Corporation, Team Northern Ontario, RBC Financial Group and Canadian Business magazine.
