The Internet goes peachy with the launch of Peach Berserk's World Wide Web site!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Toronto - December 19, 1995
The Internet became a lot more glamourous today with the official launch of the world's peachiest Web site by Peach Berserk of 507 Queen Street West, Toronto.
The site includes an online catalogue, Web pages on the Peach Berserk jewellery and ceramics lines, Glamour Gal fashions, Buster Mowgli men's fashions, a fashion advice column "Ask the Peach Lady", a Christmas page for procrastinators, and more than a dash of fun and wackiness.
Canadian fashion designer Kingi Carpenter, owner of Peach Berserk, is confident that the World Wide Web is the perfect place for small independent fashion designers and wholesalers to compete against the large fashion houses in the international market. "Our Web site will give us international visibility 24 hours a day every day of the week - even Christmas! It's impossible to reach that many people or markets any other way."
Established in 1987, Peach Berserk, is known world-wide for its one-of-a-kind handmade fashions crafted from handprinted original fabric designs in silk and cotton.
The colourful site was designed by Blue Cat Design, a Toronto area design firm that specializes in Web site design and online publishing. "Peach Berserk was the ideal client," says Blue Cat Design's Creative Director and CEO, Christine Rowland, an award-winning designer with twenty years of graphic design experience, "they gave us complete creative freedom and the result is a zany, colourful Web site that people enjoy visiting."
