Christine	Christine has more than twenty years of design and marketing experience. She has designed everything from Web sites to television animated program openings and news graphics to books, magazines, packaging, retail advertising and houses. She spent seven years in broadcast design, both at the regional level at Global Television Network and the national network level as Art Director at CTV (Canadian Television Network) before becoming the founder and creative director of Blue Cat Design. Wade	Wade is an author and new media strategist. He is in charge of our editorial services. He has developed strategic business plans for CTV Television Network, MediaLinx (Stentor), CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, English Language Television), CBC Training. He is author of over a dozen books and a regular contributor of articles on new media, Internet technology, and contemporary values to major newspapers and magazines including the Toronto Star and ComputerWorld. Mike	Mike loves a challenge. We're still searching for one to stump him. From clickable buttons to interactive feedback forms, from customer support to HTML pumping, he's a valued member of the team. He's a sports enthusiast who enjoys camping, winning cycling competitions and rock climbing.
Laurie	Laurie's 20 years experience includes programming, business analysis, planning, process re-design, project management, meeting facilitation, and management roles, including Director of Information Technology. She has worked in a variety of industries including broadcasting, consumer healthcare, packaged goods, pharmaceutical, and insurance. Laurie ensures successful implementation of web sites by assisting clients with business planning, business process improvement, and project planning. It'a a mystery to us how Laurie also manages to squeeze in teaching scuba diving, skiing, traveling, and photography.
Eric	With a background in computer programming learned in China, Eric is an enthusiastic member of the team whether he's pumping out interactive feedback forms or writing custom code. A cycling enthusiast who loves to cycle to the Blue Cat Design offices; we also have it on good authority - his wife - that he spends all his spare time on the computer.
Simon	With a classical business background and experience building successful companies and organizations from a concept, Simon's expertise contributes to the high-end client strategy Blue Cat Design offers. Simon brings a real expertise in electronic publishing and Internet marketing to bear for our clients. Also an experienced development project manager with seventeen years of programming and several commercial technology products behind him, Simon can build just about anything, with experience far beyond the typical custom UNIX backends, groupware tools, and custom email systems. Simon was a candidate for Federal Parliament in the 2000 election and is active in civil society.
Sandy	Sandy understands the power of a cutting edge, creative marketing campaign - she has spent ten years as a senior Marketing Representative at NOW Magazine, Toronto's leading alternative news weekly. Her diverse roster of clients have included the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Hummingbird Centre (formerly the O'Keefe Centre), the Royal Alex, Swatch Canada, Bell Mobility, The Bitove Corporation and a multitude of retail, travel, and education-based clients.
Karen	Karen brings a flare for print design to the team. After graduating from the Ontario College of Art, Karen did package design at the Watt Design Group. When Blue Cat Design clients need print materials that reflect their new online image, Karen's designs always hit just the right note whether it's for logos, letterhead, brochures or corporate newsletters.
Bart	Bart has been a full-time illustrator for more than seven years. He is a skilled generalist illustrator with an area of specialization in biomedical full-color illustration for editorial, pharmaceutical and educational use. His dynamic and informative illustrations have been used by Equinox Magazine, Merck Frosst Canada, Needham Advertising, Toronto General Hospital, etc. We are happy to offer his illustration services to Blue Cat Design clients.
Gail	Although very Web-savvy and a whiz at animations for the Web, Gail is also talented in traditional art: illustration, portraits and painting. She migrated from CAD design to the world of HTML, Java, AVI, GIF's and JPEG's. We couldn't get along without her sense of humor.
Angela	Our Australian team member, Angela, has a degree in Marketing Management and has held various marketing and sales roles within the financial markets industry from the mid '80s to the early '90s including positions with both merchant and investment banks including Schroders Australia, Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation, Bank of New York and Deutsche Bank. Angela's experience in management computer applications, research methodology and strategic marketing for corporations - not to mention her enthusiasm - are assets clients and team members appreciate.
Tiger	Probably the most frequently asked question we get - second only to "how much is this going to cost" - is where did the name Blue Cat Design come from. Well our fearless leader Christine, who must have been a cat in a previous life, is a fanatical cat lover and Tiger is her cat. Tiger, not nearly as ferocious as her name, is a sometime visitor at the Blue Cat Design offices and on occasion, has been spotted taking a nap on Christine's lap.
